printed pants

I'm not usually into pants that are this busy, but I saw these (the last pair!) on the rack and had to try them. They were perfect and not to mention $7! I love that they're printed and feminine, but not too obnoxious either, plus light and airy for the hot weather. How are you guys holding up? I've started a new job recently, and my photog (my husband) and I are living in different cities for a bit until our rental house is ready to move in, so outfit pictures have been few and far between. Maybe these pants will hold you over until next time.

Don't you love it when you have stylish friends that buy something that they don't exactly love on themself, but because you have no rear end, you can wear it?! I think this is the one time that not having a butt was in my favor. My always adorable friend LB bought this jumpsuit at Target, in the children's section y'all, she's genius! Then she was so kind to let me try it on and I fell in love with it! After realizing I can fit into a children's XL, I took it a little too far and went to Target the next day to try on all the cute girls clothes I could find. Let's just say nothing worked out like this jumpsuit, and all of the Target employees think I'm a crazy lunatic.

clothe your neighbor as yourself

I love supporting, collaborating, and sharing with brands that are truly making a difference. Clothe Your Neighbor as Yourself (CYNY) is a nonprofit clothing brand that gives 100% of its profits to provide clothing for someone in need. There's no other brand I'd rather represent. They are doing BIG, huge, world-changing, life-changing things and we should all be a part of it. I'm wearing the We Are the Bridge Crew, I love it because it's simple, but still makes a big statement. Not only is this top amazing, but when you purchase this or any item from CYNY you also get to chose how to give based on what needs mean the most to you. Pretty cool, right.

Head to CYNY to shop this top, plus more and a big thank you to CYNY for providing the product for this post, for giving and loving so well, and for supporting me too.

summer days

Hot summer days call for the most comfortable and minimal dress I can find in my closet. I love the ease and versatility of a simple, black tank dress. And let's talk about these shoes! I had been looking for lace up sandals that I could wear with a lot of things and lo and behold I walk into Old Navy and find these babies. The color sold me, I just couldn't say no! The days are still hot, but summer won't last forever, so I'm taking advantage of the weather and getting all my dress wearing in while I can.

still patriotic

I'm still feeling patriotic after the weekend. Gosh I love our country you guys. I don't think anything says "God Bless America" more than red, stripes, and denim. Did you all have a great weekend? I'm so sad it's over! We celebrated in the most American way-I ran in my second 10k, we ate steaks, hung out with family, and went to a Braves game while eating Brat's, cotton candy, and watching fireworks. If any of you know my family, specifically my husband, then you know that the 4th of July is kind of a big deal around our house.
I randomly found this tank at Gap on our recent trip to Savannah and I didn't realize how much I loved it until I wore it today. The fit is spot on! They had a few other colors and I might just go back for more.

Halfway through the year folks! Now is a good time to look back at your 2015 goals and see where you are. June was an awesome month and I have a feeling July isn't going to be any different. I hope you all had a great 4th of July!

Here are my goals for July:

1) Read a new book.

2) Spend more time outdoors.

3). Be inspired.

4) Cook something new.

5) Take on a new project.

What are your goals for the month?
