lovely lace

This has to be one of my favorite pieces of clothing that I own. I wish I had it two years ago during all of our wedding festivities! It's delicate, beautiful, comfortable, and makes me feel so timeless. These are the kinds of things you want to have in your closet. I took a more casual route with this dress today, but there's so many endless options and ways to wear it. Colorful heels would be amazing, so would sandals, a denim vest, booties, or a cute hat. The best is that it's under $60! Also, size up, I have broad shoulders and like my clothes to fit loose, but I'm wearing a large.

pastels + polka dots

I'm really feeling it spring, really feeling it. Spring has really been a pain in my rear so far. Cold days, hot days, freezing rain, lots of rain, wind, all the inconsistency, my emotions are running wild. It's finally feeling like the warmth is here to stay. We are going all kinds of crazy over here, buying tank tops and swimsuits like nobody's business. To say we missed the sun is actually correct. I dress with the weather, I think I've admitted this before, so today deserved happy pastels and polka dots. Oh, and two scoops of ice cream with the husband. That man loves ice cream more then I love bloomin' onions, and that's a whole lot of love people.

i work out

I've discovered that investing in cute and comfortable workout clothes is half the battle. I'm more likely to get up and go for a run if I have cute shoes to wear and a new tank top to put on. And no, this is not my way of getting to buy new clothes, although that doesn't hurt. Lately, I've tried to invest more time and money into finding those workout outfits that inspire me to get going! I love having an assortment of cute tanks, especially when it's blazing hot out. And sweating in cute tank tops feels a heck of a lot better than sweating in old, nasty tee shirts.

the sun will come out tomorrow

Tonight was date night and a celebration of the sun! It has literally been raining and dreary here for two weeks straight. I didn't realize that we actually lived in Seattle. We finally found a break in the clouds and rain today to take outfit pictures. Last week it seemed like every time we went to take pictures, it started to rain. Today is a victory. We celebrate all victories around here, and today we partied with steaks and bloomin' onions. Now that's a party. Now we're back to the rain.

cotton candy colors

Have I mentioned that I love cotton candy? I love, love, love it and everything it stands for. The circus, the fair, and baseball games, my childhood memories taste just like cotton candy goodness. This is getting weird, but what I'm saying is, I love these pink and blue colors together. They're sweet, comforting, vibrant, and happy. I'm also in love with this tank top from Old Navy. They have many colors and they're all amazing, but the boyfriend fit of this tank was hard to pass up. I may go back for more, it's that good.
