This is possibly the warmest jacket I've ever put on my body. I'm glad I snatched it up because it was sold out at fab'rik  pretty quickly...twice. I also couldn't find it online either, unfortunately. If you ever want to borrow it, just let me know, there will be a $5.00 rental fee. A girl's got to make a living somehow, yea?

I hope you all had a very Merry Christmas and enjoyed time with family! Are any of you tackling any after Christmas sales tomorrow? If so, may the force be with you.

I don't know about you guys, but I think this time of year brings out the best and the worst in people. You see all kinds of things and hear amazing stories of giving and sad stories of stealing all over the place. It breaks my heart, and then gives me hope too. This is my favorite time of year I've decided. Despite the bad, this time of year everyone wants to be with the people they love, doing the things they love, cuddled by a fire, and enjoying all of the things that friends and family should do, all year long. As I sit here and watch Michael Buble's annual Christmas show, which by the way, is so amazing, I challenge everyone, including myself, to remember what's most important in life this year, and every other year after that. People are important, family is irreplaceable, and friends that are like family are hard to come by, hold on to them  and cherish every little moment. I've been learning this over and over again lately! I'm obviously feeling very sentimental tonight, Michael Buble will do it to you, reallllll fast. I can't wait to be home for Christmas and celebrating with our families, it's what I look forward to most-wearing this sweater is a close second.

Let's talk fur, shall we. I've been getting really into it lately, in all ways. I'm gravitating towards any fur I see in stores. It's almost becoming a little creepy. I just pet it, tell myself I don't need any more fur, then move on. I was feeling particularly brave this day, wearing fur, and leather, is a pretty big deal! I was, what I like to call, "fabulous." I told you guys I'd be in fur and leather the rest of the month ;)

Guessing Game

I feel like this weather is playing games with me. Either that, or my weather app straight up lies. It's supposed to be 70 degrees out, so I wear a light shirt, then it's actually freezing. Then today I wear a sweater and it really was 70 degrees. I just can't get it right. Apparently, it's snowing and icy everywhere else like winter should be. I give up and I'll be wearing fur and leather for the rest of the month. Who's with me?

All Business

Since we're looking for a new house and I'm looking for a new job, I've felt the need to feel all business lately. What says "I mean business" more then a blazer? Nothing, absolutely nothing. I eyed these jeans for a few weeks at the shop. I put them on hold, then off hold, then on and off again. Finally I caved and I'm so glad I did! If you don't have a pair of jeans like this, you should consider them. Although I was in the bed by 10, these jeans allow you to go from business to play super easily, which is what good jeans are made of.

Remember that awkward moment when we realized leggings sorta second as pants...sort of. Well I remember that awkward time when I bought these leggings thinking they were completely darkened, only to wear them out shopping and a store employee ask me if I was wearing tights or leggings. This was also the girl that asked for my I.D. and told me she liked my blonde hair better (I had no words for her). It was then that I realized these are definitely opaque in the upper regions. The makers of these leggings were complete liars and it doesn't help that these are the most comfortable leggings I've ever owned and that they literally come up as far as they can go-dear friends, remind me to wear these when I'm preggo and none of my pants fit me. Now I'm on the search for more leggings, but today I threw my hat to wind and wore them anyways. Hoping my new favorite boots would draw everyone's attention downward...way down.
